McDonald’s Officially Launches McCrispy Strips
With the announcement by McDonald’s about its new McCrispy Stripes along with a new Creamy Chili Dip on April 24th, the fans are in for a feast, especially those who want and love chicken. As per the fast food giant, the participating restaurants from all over the country will start to serve McCrispy Stripes permanently from May 5. Though some locations in the country have already started to offer these to the customers from Thursday. McDonald’s added, “savory, sweet, and tangy ”creamy chili sauce is also being launched along with them. The food giant also informed that there will be no limited-time bologna here and is being launched permanently.

As and when they arrive, the McCrispy will be the first menu item and the latest chicken one at that, which the company has rolled out in about four years now, as stated by the company. This statement was provided to the Food & Wine by the company. On being asked about the ingredients of the McCrispy Strips, the company informed that they are made with “juicy, 100% white meat, coated with crispy golden-brown breading and bursting with a bold, new black pepper flavor.” The combo seemed to complement each other as it is a “savory, sweet, and tangy sauce that unlocks the full Strips experience.”
McDonald’s claims to have obliged to the customer demands
McDonald’s chief marketing and customer experience officer, Alyssa Buetkofer, said, “”The demand for chicken strips has been remarkable to see across the industry, so we knew we had to deliver something so craveable that it was worth the wait”. Adding to the statement, he said, “We took our time, listened to our fans, and created a product we knew they would crave. And the best part is we’re just getting started.”
Cesar Pina, the senior vice president and the chief supply chain officer at McDonald’s informed, “”When we introduce a new menu item like McCrispy Strips, we know we have a big promise to fulfill to meet our customers’ expectations”. Continuing his statement, he said, ““From the farms we source from to how food is prepared in our restaurants, bringing new products to our fans requires collaboration across suppliers, franchisees, and company staff. We hold ourselves to the highest standard and aim to bring fans nothing less than greatness.”
The food shall be introduced as the new offering of McCrispy Strips in three or four-piece portions, with each accompanied by one or two cups of Creamy Chili Dip all the participating restaurants across the US, as per McDonald’s. In February, the CEO of McDonald’s had informed the analysts and investors that the company was looking to introduce the chicken strips to the US restaurants. The company also intends to make try for a comeback of its Snack Wraps for the US “along with a few other markets”, as per CEO Chris Kempczinski. American Restaurants offered these Wraps earlier, and now, some nine years have passed by since then.
Throwing a light on the future course of action for McDonald’s chicken business, Chris Kempczinski revealed the company’s plans to increase the availability of its McCrispy sandwich to nearly all markets from the current strength of markets, which is about seventy in number. This, he said, would be done by the end of 2025 and shall “pulse in” the Chicken Big Mac”.
Chris had said in February, “We’re excited about the significant opportunity we see within our chicken portfolio and see the potential to add another point of chicken market share by the end of 2026″.
